We are an Open and Affirming church, and a Level Two Green Church. If you are local, we sincerely hope to welcome you to our physical church. If you are far away, we hope you find our stories of faith comforting and inspiring. Either way, we wish all of God’s abundant blessings for you and your loved ones. “The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.” (Numbers 6:24-26)

COVID-19 SAFETY MEASURES AT GCC
Worship services, meetings, and outside activities at Groton Congregational Church have been suspended until further notice. Our church leaders are continually evaluating the situation and will make a determination as to when we can safely reopen our building for worship. In the mean time, we are offering Sunday worship services via YouTube, and weekly prayers meetings and coffee hour to you via Zoom. Continue to check our website and social media for updates and links. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the church office at 860-445-7409 and someone will return your call.
KEEPING IN TOUCH
As you know by now, by order of the Governor we have locked down the church indefinitely, not only suspending all in-person worship and activities, but no one is to enter the building at this time, except the few who are checking in on things. We will keep you up to date as things begin to change.
We are providing worship services and meetings through YouTube and Zoom. The links to our Sunday worship service can be found here, on our home page, on our sermons page, as well as on our Facebook page.
Please keep in touch through email or calls and let us know if you need anything. Please let us know if you or a loved one is ill and/or in the hospital. Connie Stoddard, our Parish Visitor and I will be checking in with our shut-ins and those in need of pastoral care.
And continue to pray for one another. We will get through this.
Peace be with you, until we can be together again.
